Your guided tour starts with a look at the astonishing Roman Aqueduct standing over 20 meters high with 160 arches built by the Romans in AD50 followed by a tour of the picturesque almost fairytale looking Alcazar. Walking through the city centre along the cobbled stone street of Calle Real for a tour of the Plaza Mayor with its colourful house and balconies festooned with potted plants and the Gothic Cathedral built in the 15th century with its wonderful stained glass windows, art and 17th century tapestries.
In the afternoon and a short drive away the tour continues with a visit to the elaborately decorated 18th Century Palace of Granja. Visit the Royal chambers and there will be some free time to explore the charming gardens with its lakes and sculptures.
